* We are in need of Full-time Senior LAMP Developer/Administrator who will work remotely from their home with our New Zealand team in a full time contract position. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining new versions of our sites. Well will be adding range of web 2.0 features, so you must have the skills and experience to design and develop sophisticated web applications.
Requirements:
* Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology/Computer Engineering/ ECE or equivalent or 7+ years of experience
* At least 3-4 years relevant work experience, including work on social networking enabled sites.
* A proven track record in Linux system administration.
* Database design and management using MySQL.
* Proficiency in managing Linux Servers (Debian).
* Highly skilled in PHP development within and without supporting frameworks.
* Strong English communication, technical, analytical and problem solving skills.
* Willing and able to design, implement, test and deploy advanced software development tasks using a LAMP stack.
* Can start immediately.
* Must have fast PC and DSL connection at home.
