We are seeking a reliable and skilled PHP web application developer to take our web sites to the next level. We are looking to develop a long-term relationship with the right candidate. We want someone who can become a permanent part of our International team.
We're in need of a full-time PHP developer who will work remotely from their home with our New Zealand team and other home-based Filipino staff in a full time contract position. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining new versions of our sites. We will be adding a range of web 2.0 features,
You need to have a Bachelor's/College Degree in Computer Applications/Computer Science/Information Technology/Computer Engineering/ ECE or equivalent or 7+ years of experience;
We require the following skill sets:
- At least 3-4 years relevant work experience, including work on social networking enabled sites.
- Highly skilled in PHP development within and without supporting frameworks.
- Database interaction using MySQL.
- Strong English communication, technical, analytical and problem solving skills.
- Willing and able to design, implement, test and deploy advanced software development tasks using a LAMP stack.
- Comfortable deploying to a Linux platform and Linux admin skills would be a bonus.
- Can start immediately.
- Must have fast PC and DSL connection at home.
